The mushrooms have an earthy, mildly nutty flavor that’s quite subtle. You may notice their natural taste if you mix your dose with water or make a warm broth. We like to add them to our morning coffee or matcha, and then the flavor isn’t noticeable. You do you though, mushrooms are a personal thing. 

A lot of the mushroom supplements on the market usually consist of the mycelium (root structure), fruiting bodies (the section above the ground) , or a combination of the two. At LOAM, we use only the fruiting bodies of mushrooms. This means only the mushroom itself. We do not blend grain or mycelium in our products. We’re fancy like that. 

At LOAM we don't use anticaking agents or additives, and yes, we’re very proud of that. However, that means you need to take a little bit more care in preserving your mushrooms at home. Here’s some tips for getting the most out of your mushrooms:  

1. Store powders in cool dry conditions and properly seal the bag after use.

2. Avoid using a wet teaspoon.

3. If you are not using the powder consistently, use a spoon to break up weekly. 

If for some reason, i.e. you choose to skim over these delightful instructions, and you do experience some clumping, then… a quick blitz in the blender should do the trick. You’re welcome. 

Yep! These mushrooms should form part of your daily habit, creating a ritual that over time you will see more of a difference. We encourage you to take a week’s break between batches though, so that your body doesn’t get too used to them. Basically, we want to keep the body guessing to see maximum results. No peak, less lag. 

Yes, our powders are 100% vegan and made from 100% mushroom. No funny business here. 

Yes we are EU Organic Certified (FI-EKO-201) and our Chaga mushrooms are inoculated on sustainable birch substrate that are FSC and PEFC certified. Our Cordyceps are USDA organics and ALL are GMO free. Like we said, fancy

We love a mushroom, but if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, it’s always best to check with your healthcare provider before diving in. We’re potent, but we want to be safe, too. 

Orders are shipped straight from the UAE, and we aim to get them to your door as fast as possible. Typically, you'll get them within 1-2 business days, but if it's a mushroom emergency (it happens) we do also offer same day delivery to mainland Dubai if you order before 2pm. We got you. 

If LOAM isn’t quite what you expected, you can send it back to us with minimal questions asked. OK, there will be some questions, because legit, our products are SO good, but we’ll be nice about it. Just make sure your return unopened and we’ll sort you out, no problem. 

While the end result of LOAM is incredible, how we get there is equally impressive. LOAM mushrooms utilizes industry-first Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction (UAE) standards in its products. This new technology increases the effectiveness and efficiency of the extraction process, allowing us to extract at lower temperatures which is beneficial for heat sensitive compounds. Besides our Cordyceps, for now, these undergo dual alcohol/hot water extraction. Pretty cool, eh?

Ultimately, it allows us to create the high quality LOAM products you know and love. We use purified spring water with ultrasonic assisted extraction (UAE) equipment to produce high yields of bioavailable compounds for your use. Here’s the cool part though; as each fungi has a unique and different method of extraction, the compounds of interest are different. When we say that each LOAM product has gone through a carefully refined process, we’re not kidding. 

Each batch is tested for quality, potency, and purity, so you know you’re getting the good stuff. No fillers, no nasties, just 100% mushroom goodness. That’s our guarantee. 

Yes! Batches go through lab testing for heavy metals and biological contamination to ensure product safety and food quality. We’re 100% transparent with everything, which is why we’ve gone in a bit deeper on the oxalates in Chaga extract below, and how it compares to other foods and dosages.
